Before founding James Morris Law in 2004, James E. Morris held senior and managing partner positions in firms focused on personal injury cases. Hence, it was a natural choice for the firm to focus on workers' compensation and personal injury, mainly work injury claims. When the firm wanted to switch to cloud-based case management software, Neos was the obvious choice. Its industry-leading functionalities and the firm's familiarity with Needles, also from Assembly Software, made it the ideal option.
With Needles, the firm needed to remote into their desktops through a downloaded app. Whatever device they were trying to work on had to have a specific app to access their desktop. It wasn't an easy thing to do, and connections dropped often.
Once they began using Neos, the whole team could work from anywhere. Haley Faust, the firm's paralegal, loves the ease with which she can jump back and forth between cases she is working on and access all the information regardless of location or device.

Before Neos, Haley would need to create new documents on firm letterhead and manually input all information for the case (names, addresses, dates, etc.), slowing her down and diminishing her overall efficiency.
Now she can effortlessly generate new documents with a few clicks. Neos dynamically populates her templates by pulling information directly from a case, then automatically saves the document to the correct case file, so she doesn't have to worry about filing errors. Accessing the case files from anywhere is helpful because she and her colleagues can pull up specific documents for any case in seconds, in any situation. They are no longer constrained to an office environment.
Haley also took advantage of Neos' robust dashboard customizations. She created a report for her Neos Today home page that monitors open cases with specific criteria to ensure that nothing critical falls off her radar, and it's the first thing she looks at every day.
